Maryland.

“Home is where one starts from.”

T. S. Eliot

I lived in Annapolis, Maryland for the first 25 years of my life. Spending weekends on the Chesapeake Bay, camping throughout the Appalachians, enjoying beach days in Ocean City, and visiting the museums of Washington D.C. Maryland is the definition of a melting pot if there ever were one. Right on the Mason-Dixon line with farmland, lakes, metropolitan cities, the ocean, countryside, forests, suburbia, and mountains all within two hours of each other. The state experiences all four seasons in their true form, and a unique energy is exerted in every different county.
